Dr. Mohamed Yassin MD, PHD, is an infectious diseases physician specializing in infection prevention.
He is Director of Infectious Diseases, Director of Infectious Diseases Education, and Medical Director of Infection Control and Quality Committee Chair at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Yassin has a broad interest in and commitment to healthcare infection prevention with a focus on endoscopic disinfection and multidrug resistant organisms surveillance. He regularly contributes to training upcoming physicians in the classroom and in the hospital and is a member of the American Journal of Infection Control (AJIC) editorial board.
